Product Description

PTFE is used as a sealing material in many ways. Because of its own high corrosion resistance, stable physical properties, high and low temperature, it has achieved good sealing performance, in the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, electric power, steel industry have a wide range of applications. Applicable medium includes water, oil, acid solution, alkali solution and so on almost all chemical composition.

PolyTetraFluoroEthylene is a fluorocarbon-based polymer and is commonly abbreviated PTFE.

The Teflon® brand of PTFE is manufactured only by DuPont.

it offers high chemical resistance, low and high temperature capability, resistance to weathering, low friction, electrical and thermal insulation.

PTFE's mechanical properties are low compared to other plastics

but its mechanical properties can be enhanced by adding fillers such as glass fibers, carbon, graphite, molybdenum disulphide, and bronze.
